Okay, here is the new list of ranks and positions within a pack.
higher than heaven
Alpha: The male who owns the whole pack.
Alphess: The female who owns the whole pack except the alpha.
Beta: The second one in order of importance.
Heir: The one who is destined to be alpha/alphess. ALWAYS their pup.
managing the w[a]r
Commander: The general or the one who commands (dur) the army.)
Subordinate Commander: Secondary commaner.
fighting the w[a]r
Warriors: They fight the other pack.
Head Guard: They guard whatever needs to be guarded.
Scouts: One who is sent out to obtain information for the battles, often used as a spy or retriever.
watching the bars
Counseler: The one who supervises the ones who are traitors.
Security Guards: They are the ones to make sure the traitors don't get away and guard.
behind the bars
Captives to Kill: The traitors the pack plan to kill.
Captives to Keep: The traitors the pack plan to keep and torture.
Omega: The one who is the joker with which the other packs take stress out on. They are part of the pack and not traitors, but are usually the "freaks" of the pack.
[step] into the world
Newborns: Just born.
Puppies: The ones who have opened their eyes and are exploring, but not yet in their adult age.
[almost] through with the world
Elders: The old who have done their deed to the pack and are going to rest.
Caregivers: The ones who care for the elders.
forever gone
JOY In Heaven: The dead ones of the pack who go to Heaven.
BURN In Hell: The dead ones of the pack who have wronged and go to Hell.
kill on sight
Packs: The rival packs.
Betrayers: The traitors who have betrayed, but have not been banished.
Banished: The ones who were exiled from the pack and were ordered to go be a loner or join another pack.
smile on sight
Packs: The friendly packs, ones who they have an alliance with.
Neutrals: The ones we don't have an opinion on, but don't hate.
Also, the alpha and alphess always position new comers. Always. The one joining does NOT choose.
The leader of the pack should have a log and keep it on a post in their territory where they keep track.

OMG! love it! But, let me add something.
Omega Position: This dog has no real job. He is like the joker, he simply tries to keep the mood light. He must lay low, for the other dogs/wolves take out their stress on him.
In real wolf packs that is the omega position, I thought it was cruel at first...

No, it wouldn't. Because they are part of the pack. They are vital. Go to google and look up omega position.

Then where else would Omega go? Because it couldn't go in any other for sure... Unless Admin wants it to be alone without a category, but that's her decision.

I don't mind. As long as...:
-the god alphas [Moon, Zeek, etc.] are praised by the clans
-there is a fair deal of apha jobs and positions
-there are a fair share of low life positions
-there is a position of a "no position"
-traitors and such spot
etc.

Okay! Then that's settled. Since the Omega will be alone, out of category.
But, the behind the bars category is still a part of the pack. *shrugs* That's what I think. What do you think, Sisco?
